Tempeh Goodness
Tempeh Goodness is a Guelph-based artisan producer of handcrafted soy and soy-free tempeh, rooted in the traditional Indonesian fermentation the owners grew up with. Their products include classic soy tempeh, unique soy-free varieties like chickpea & flax and black bean & sunflower seed, and deli-style slices under the oomamee line. Tempeh Goodness delivers fresh-frozen tempeh across Ontario and partners with foodservice businesses, combining heritage, quality, and sustainability.
“We started the company here in Guelph not just because it’s home to us, but because of the amazing agrifood ecosystem here and our incredible connection with the University of Guelph.
The soybeans we use were developed right at the Ontario Agricultural College, and we’re excited to be working with U of G researchers on Canada’s first-ever tempeh fermentation study.”
The project aimed to elevate the brand’s visual and digital presence across photography, brand identity, packaging, website, and social media. Brand identity work refined the logo, defined a visual system of colours, typography, and graphics, and produced guidelines to ensure consistent use.
